“Fall has always been my favorite season. The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale.” — Lauren DeStefano
I was just browsing my blog and found not one, not two, but THREE posts last year dedicated to autumn. Boy, I must really love that season 😉
If you are a fan of the crimson leaves and the crisp fall air too, I would highly recommend reading (or re-reading) these posts, and treating your eyes to some autumn-goodness photos.
“Its the time for new-season apples and comfort meals and wintry soups. Many times a day, a kettle is brewed and steaming tea is poured with a slice of cake or a handful of nuts, alongside a good book in hand. We start to close the windows and doors come dusk and prepare to settle inside our nest. We soon make our way to the beds to the comforts of our quilts.” — excerpt from my post in the above link.
As is tradition, I tried to capture the season in my photos. This time I also made a small video to pay homage to crimson and golden autumn leaves too. You can watch it here.
And some photos from a fine autumn afternoon in the city.
